Wales Bonner and David Alaba Internship Programme

Wales Bonner and David Alaba are proud to launch the ‘Wales Bonner and David Alaba Internship Programme’, a paid internship scheme which will provide mentoring, experience and support to two graduates from a Black or Black mixed heritage background. The internship scheme in association with Mentoring Matters will see the two successful candidates complete 6-month internships at the Wales Bonner studio in London, working across their design, product, marketing and communications departments.

Design & Product Internship

Applications for this internship are now closed. Candidates selected for interview will be notified by Friday 18th October.

The chosen candidate will work across our design, product development and production departments where they will learn about the full product lifecycle. Typical tasks will include design research, updating design and colour boards in the studio, organising raw materials, liaising with factories and suppliers, technical drawings, sample management, and updating various digital files.

  • Final Interviews: 22nd October 2024
  • Internship dates (6 months): Late October 2024 to April 2025

Marketing & Communications Internship

The chosen candidate will work in our communications department where they will learn about marketing and PR across the brand. Typical tasks will include design, brand and social media research, preparing decks and briefs, coordinating sample loans, event planning, and social media support.

Hours: Full Time - 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday

Location: Wales Bonner Studio, London N1, UK

Salary: London Living Wage - currently £13.15 per hour
