Wales Bonner presents a video and photographic project by Jorge Perez Ortiz, shot in Dakar, Senegal.

The photo series features the Wales Bonner Spring Summer 2025 collection Midnight Palms, a celebration of the unique vibrance of cities by the sea. 

The Spring Summer 2025 collection also celebrates the work of pioneering Trinidadian artist and textile designer Althea McNish, whose floral prints are featured across the collection and in the photo campaign.

“At sunset, the sea becomes a refuge where friendship flourishes, where laughter and conversations blend with the gentle sound of the waves.  Every encounter by the sea is a reminder that life, like water, flows and carries us toward new experiences, new friendships, and lasting memories.

This collaboration, for me, is all about telling visual stories that not only celebrate fashion, but also the cultures and people that inspire it.

Above all this project is my tribute to friendship, the sea, and the sun - to all the things that inspire me and make me feel alive.”
